Secure Shipping

For security purposes, Labadie & Cora may require orders to be shipped to an approved carrier location, FedEx location, UPS location, insured third-party facility, business address, or other secure pickup location rather than directly to a residential address.

This policy is designed to help protect against theft, fraud, misdelivery, and unauthorized receipt of high-value merchandise.

Carrier Pickup and Identification

If your order is shipped to a carrier location or secure pickup facility, you will be notified when the package is ready for pickup.

A valid government-issued photo ID may be required to release the package. The name on the ID may be required to match the name on the order, payment method, or approved pickup authorization.

Failure to pick up the package within the carrier’s required timeframe may result in return shipping, storage fees, delays, cancellation, or additional shipping charges.

Insurance

Unless otherwise stated, shipped items are insured while in transit according to the terms of the applicable carrier and insurance provider.

Insurance coverage may require strict compliance with carrier procedures, delivery requirements, pickup requirements, signature requirements, and claims documentation.

If a package is lost, stolen, damaged, delayed, misdelivered, or subject to a carrier or insurance claim, you agree to cooperate with all carrier, insurance, payment processor, and law-enforcement procedures. This may include providing identification, affidavits, photographs, packaging, police reports, claim forms, and other documentation.

Failure to cooperate with a carrier, insurer, payment processor, or investigation may delay or prevent claim approval, refund, replacement, or resolution.

Shipping Restrictions

We do not ship to P.O. boxes, hotels, freight forwarders, temporary addresses, unverified addresses, or high-risk addresses unless approved by Labadie & Cora in writing.

We reserve the right to refuse shipment, require alternate shipping arrangements, require in-person pickup, request additional identity verification, or cancel an order if we determine that the shipping address or transaction presents an elevated risk.

Signature Requirement

Adult signature may be required for delivery or pickup. Packages will not be released without satisfying the carrier’s identification, signature, and pickup requirements.

If a package is signed for by you, your authorized representative, building staff, business staff, concierge, carrier location, mailroom, or another authorized recipient at the approved delivery location, the package may be considered delivered.

Delivery Timeframes

All shipping and delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by payment verification, fraud review, identity verification, carrier delays, insurance requirements, weather, customs processing, incorrect customer information, recipient unavailability, security holds, or events outside our control.

Risk of Loss

Once a package is delivered to the approved shipping address, carrier location, secure pickup location, or authorized recipient according to carrier records, the order will be considered delivered.

You are responsible for promptly retrieving and securing the package after delivery or carrier pickup notification.

International Shipping

International orders are subject to approval by Labadie & Cora and may be refused or cancelled at our discretion.

International buyers are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, tariffs, VAT, GST, brokerage fees, local taxes, and import restrictions.

We will not undervalue shipments, misdescribe merchandise, alter invoices, mark merchandise as gifts, or provide false customs documentation.

Labadie & Cora is not responsible for customs delays, import restrictions, seizure, refusal, abandoned packages, unpaid duties, or local delivery issues outside the United States.
